The New Akropolis has prepared a lecture on the successful composer Ludwig van Beethoven. More than 30 participants listened to an online lecture not only about his work but also about his admirable life. Many interesting things were mentioned, such as the fact that he studied philosophy through Indian, Egyptian and ancient Greek writings, or the fact that Beethoven, after losing his hearing, learned to listen inside. His work endowed us with the beauty of music and he showed by his own example that difficult moments in life can strengthen and improve us. The lecture was also enriched with several musical samples of the compositions.
