Planting the seeds of the world of tomorrow that we wish better, this was the goal of the members of 9 centers of New Acropolis France, on Saturday September 18th.
On the occasion of the World Clean Up Day, the annual waste collection event, 152 participants joined the volunteer philosophers to face, together and to our extent, the ecological challenge of our time.
In total, 359 kg of waste and 31,500 cigarette butts were collected from the streets, parks, along rivers and in the squares of our cities.
A global action that shows that a feeling of belonging to nature beyond borders allows us to move forward by designing clean and sustainable spaces that transcend dividing lines. A million human beings are cleaning up a piece of the planet, all over the world, like a silent call for change. And millions more, who, crossing them at random, will have realized the need for action.
With courage, solidarity and humility, because external change must take place first within everyone, if we want it to be sustainable.
