New Acropolis centre in Lviv keeps working with the hope of peace in Ukraine

Humanitarian Disaster Relief

Volunteers of New Acropolis in Lviv weave camouflage nets and organise delivery of humanitarian aid to the eastern regions. Recently, they delivered 15 solar panels.

Another type of work currently underway – making bandages. The volunteers used almost 1000 bedsheets and produced 10 000 bandages which were transported to a hospital. The leader of New Acropolis in Lviv Olena Lukina commented “I realised it is not so important what to sleep on, what really matters is security and loved ones nearby.”

Apart from volunteering, a study of philosophy continues in Lviv. First time since the beginning of the war, a course Philosophy for Life started. Students from Lviv, Kyiv, Dnipro and other cities of Ukraine who came seeking safe refuge in Lviv will be studying major systems of thoughts of East and West and exploring their relevance and practical application to our life.
