The secret of numbers and the golden ratio in nature (Belgrano, Argentina)
New Acropolis offered a free in-person talk, entitled: ‘The Secrets of Numbers and Proportion in Nature’, given by Professor Lucas Perfumo.
On this occasion, topics such as the fragmentation of the primordial unity of the Cosmos, the golden ratio in the development and evolution of the Universe and human beings, and the Fibonacci sequence were discussed. These topics have been developed and explored by key historical figures, including: the Florentine polymath Leonardo Da Vinci, the Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, and the mathematician, accountant and economist Lucas Paccioli.
The “Unity” that lies behind multiplicity is a transcendental tool for philosophy, since it is the one that allows us to see the WHOLE IN THE PART AND EACH PART IN THE WHOLE.
