Children for Good” Program celebrates 15 years (Brazil)

Social Volunteering

The “Children for Good” program, an initiative of the International Organization New Acropolis Brasil North, celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2022. During this period, more than 3,000 children and young people between 6 and 16 years of age in situations of social vulnerability, residing in various administrative regions of the Federal District, received socio-educational services during after-school hours, in a planned, systematic and cost-free manner.

With volunteering actions and the promotion of sponsors and public-private initiatives through projects, in 2022, 200 children and young people were served from Monday to Saturday with socio-educational workshops in the areas of Art-Culture (Music, Dance, Crafts and Poetry), Sports-Recreation and Pedagogical Support (incentives to stay in school) with the infrastructure of transportation and food for the realization of the activities.

Participating families also benefited from the health care provided by the Seraphis Institute, a partner of the Program, in addition to social assistance actions with the communities.
