Hypatia was a renowned intellectual of ancient Alexandria, whose teachings in mathematics and philosophy inspired the greatest minds of her time. But his life was also marked by tragic events that upset subsequent generations.

This conference invited us to explore Hypatia’s life and contributions, as well as reflect on the significance of her life and death in a world that continues to struggle for equality and justice.
