This lecture was given by João Ferro, a teacher and volunteer at New Acropolis. Perhaps due to the nature of the subject, which is always topical and of interest, it was very well attended.

Taking a poem by Rumi as a starting point, João Ferro transported us – often using his own experiences – through the mysterious paths of love, passing through the attraction of opposites, love as a path of inner growth and also the aspect of how “the other” is an integral part of this process. As he himself said, “to love is a state of consciousness of continuous and full self-giving”.
