The Power of Symbols (Chicago, USA)

World Philosophy Day

The New Acropolis School in Chicago had the honor of hosting Denis Bricnet, regional coordinator of the New Acropolis schools in North America, for a public event for World Philosophy Day, on the power of symbols.

A group of people joined the event, where they listened to Mr. Bricnet talk about the shaman’s path in ancient American cultures, and Gilad Sommer, the director of New Acropolis Chicago, talk about the power and relevance of symbols.

The guests also enjoyed an artistic presentation of the Aztec myth of Cuatlicue, and an exhibition about the symbols of the three worlds of the three Americas: North, Central and South, created by New Acropolis members as part of their symbolism course.
