The presentation of the book “A Course in Stoicism” by Miguel Angel Padilla took place at the New Acropolis Centre in Malaga, where the author was interviewed by the school’s head librarian, Miguel Artola.

During the presentation, Professor Padilla explained how the book had come into being after he had given an online course on the subject during the pandemic. The interview covered topics such as the possible reasons why Stoicism is so popular at the moment, as well as discussing some of the key points raised in the book, based on texts from the Stoic philosophers which can still be applied to the everyday problems we encounter.

At the end of the event, copies of the book were signed by the author.
