New Acropolis Bulgaria joined the IONA world wide campaign in over 50 countries in the world in celebrating the World Philosophy Day (as per UNESCO). This year’s theme in Sofia was “Philosophy and Life in Society”. In an organized philosophical reading the participants reviewed the texts of Confucius, Lao Tzu and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, which inspired them and gave them some ideas on how to build a just society and a stable state. There was a long and enriching debate after the readings, giving light to the fact that we would all like to see the majority of the ideas put into practice. Each participant left with a short personal inspiration – a new virtue drawn from our philosophical wheel of fortune.
