New Acropolis celebrated Arts Day with a talk on beauty and the golden ratio (Cordoba, Argentina)

Day of Arts

As part of Arts Day 2025, members of Nueva Acropolis Cordoba held a moving and enriching talk titled: “The Golden Ratio: the Expression of Beauty in Nature and Art”. The event took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Urban Art and attracted a large and diverse audience interested in exploring the deep connections between beauty, nature, and human creativity.

The session began with a reading of “At the Throne of Beauty” by poet and philosopher Khalil Gibran, and continued with poems that exalt the ideal of beauty, such as “To the Divine Proportion” by Rafael Alberti and “Beauty is the Mine, Love the Diamond” by Rumi.

During the talk, reflections were shared on the golden ratio as a universal pattern present in nature, art, architecture, science, and philosophy—one that has fascinated thinkers, scientists, and artists throughout history.

Finally, the discussion emphasized how this renewed view of nature inspires us to recognize, both in the world around us and within ourselves, a profound harmony that gives meaning, structure, and unity to life.
