With Reza Moghaddassi, we die to our illusions (Biarritz, France).
Why is that? Because each and every one of us, in the wanderings of our imperfect and tragic existence, experienced the One for an instant. This very experience legitimises the mysterious desire that has always haunted us, calling us tirelessly to rediscover the satisfaction of our true nature: that of the spirit resonating with the Spirit.
Taking as examples Plato’s Allegory of the Cave and the contemporary film Matrix, as well as various proposals by philosophers, traditions and artists, Reza MOGHADDASSI sheds light on this same ontological path, this maieutic odyssey to which man is called to be born to communion in the light.
It is a destiny that requires the individual to free himself from the three matrices of which he is successively imprisoned: the socio-political matrix, the psychological matrix and the metaphysical matrix.
Free from illusion, it is not a matter of fleeing from the world, but of finally living it. For the world is then revealed from the Day as the very manifestation of the unspeakable, with Being appearing in everything, which rediscovers its sacred nature as a singular expression of the divine.
