The folk group Lo Drac Alat recently took part in the “València és Música” project, an initiative promoted by the Provincial Council of Valencia aimed at showcasing the province’s rich cultural and musical heritage.

During the event, the group gave a colourful and joyful performance, singing and dancing to a variety of regional Valencian songs, reviving traditional melodies and dances that form part of the region’s cultural heritage. Lo Drac Alat’s performance stood out for its authenticity, its meticulous staging and the commitment of all its members, who succeeded in conveying to the audience the festive spirit and vitality of Valencian folklore.

The “València és Música” project aims to promote local musical traditions through folk groups, bands and ensembles from different municipalities, thereby strengthening cultural identity and encouraging public participation in artistic activities.
