Members of our School in Egaleo visited the archaeological site and the museum of Eleusis. It was a true initiation, as we walked where the sacred Eleusinian Mysteries were performed for centuries. Amidst the imposing ruins of the Telesterion and the rare exhibits of the museum, we felt the evocative atmosphere of a place dedicated to the cycle of life and the hope of rebirth. It is overwhelming to stand at the spot where the ancient spirit met the divine, discovering through the sculptures and inscriptions the secrets of a spiritual tradition that left its mark on world history.
