Kick-off of the workshop “Fitness and Health Philosophy” (Bulgaria)
New Acropolis Bulgaria organized a workshop dedicated to personal health and wellness, entitled Home Fitness. One of Sofia’s members, an experienced fitness instructor, taught the participants the art of doing physical exercises at home without any special fitness equipment.
The event started with a very interesting lecture on the theory of physical exercise and its importance for health and well-being, combined with some motivational quotes from ancient physicians and philosophers about the role of physical activity for the health of body and spirit. Then, there was a practical part with a training set of warm-up, stretching and movement of all parts of the body. At the end of the event, all participants felt renewed and rejuvenated with the motivation to take that energy home and create a healthy routine.
