Volunteers from the Eger centre of New Acropolis Hungary organize regular social actions to help elderly or hard-pressed fellow citizens. They contribute to improving the situation by providing what is needed in a particular case. During the last three months 14 cubic metres of fire wood were split and delivered to the homes of three families to ensure that they would not be left without heating. When needed, the volunteers help with the shopping, or collect and distribute non-perishable food products to needy people.

Most recently, they helped a family who had been homeless for ten months to move into and quickly refurnish a rented house.
