Trip to Nibara Limestone Cave (Yokohama, Japan)

Uncategorized

Members of New Acropolis Yokohama in Japan visited a limestone cave. As the train glides into the Okutama area, the scenery changes completely and becomes a green world full of life. You can feel the vital energy of the trees from inside the car, and it makes us want to walk in nature as soon as possible. Before boarding the bus from Okutama station, we went down to the river and had lunch while soaking our feet in the cold water. We could feel that the clear flow of the river provides a different energy than that of the sea.

In the limestone cave, rainwater gradually dissolves the stone ground, creating cavities and stalactites resembling icicles.
