September 2025, marked the beginning of a new cycle of the Urban Forests ecological volunteering project, organized by New Acropolis Córdoba.

This project aims to reforest public and private spaces with native species, while also carrying out environmental education activities designed to promote care and respect for the natural environment.

During this first meeting, participants attended an introductory talk on identifying native species from the region. Afterwards, using small seedbeds, they prepared the soil and planted seeds from various native species, beginning the cultivation process.

Once the seeds germinate, a transplanting activity will be held, during which the young sprouts will be moved to larger spaces to continue their growth.

The Urban Forests project invites everyone interested in the conservation of native forests to join as volunteers and take an active part in this ecological initiative.
