Urban Forests – Stage II: Seedling Pricking Out (Córdoba, Argentina)

Ecological Volunteering

Last weekend, the second meeting of the Urban Forests project took place, an initiative aimed at promoting ecology and the conservation of native species.

During the activity, the pricking out of the shoots that emerged after the first meeting was carried out. The young trees were transplanted in order to support their proper development and allow them to continue growing under better conditions.

The Urban Forests project will continue next year, when seeds will be collected from local forests and new shoots will be germinated, while the existing ones continue to grow.
