Philosophy in Motion: A Weekend of Connection and Community in the Sierras (Córdoba, Argentina)
Last weekend, members of New Acropolis Córdoba journeyed into the heart of the Córdoba mountains to take part in a transformative experience: a philosophical retreat.
Moving beyond the confines of classrooms and textbooks, this gathering sought to translate ancient teachings into daily practice. Surrounded by the raw beauty of nature, school members engaged in activities specifically designed to strengthen the bonds of fraternity and integration—the very pillars of our institution.
This retreat was more than just a respite from the urban rush; it was an invitation to a profound, three-fold connection:
- With Nature: The mountain landscape provided the perfect sanctuary for silence and observation.
- With Others: Through shared tasks and communal living, the spirit of teamwork and philosophical friendship was deeply reinforced.
- With Oneself: A vital time for introspection and mental clarity.
“It was a moment to dust off our dreams and envision the year ahead with renewed energy,” remarked the participants.
This camp marks the beginning of a season of grand projects. By stepping away from the daily noise, the philosophers of New Acropolis were able to visualize their goals for this cycle, renewing their commitment to human development and community service.
With souls filled with inspiration and bonds made stronger than ever, the Córdoba school returns to its activities, ready to embrace the challenges of a new year of study and action.
